COMMISSIONED SCHOOL MURALS

Most of my school murals are done with children, but a few of them have been requested by the schools as part of a remodeling project. The mural shown below was commissioned by a school counselor.

This next mural was for Orchard Lake Elementary and included the construction of lifelike apple trees in the hallways. I used a sculptured bark made from an imprint from actual trees. It created a great effect and really changed a very plain hallway into a magical space.

I have done many murals with subject matter appropriate for children. From mermaids and jungles, to bugs and frogs and flower gardens. They are all fun. Many of them have been for newborns. Here’s a gallery of a few of them. Click on the first photo for the slideshow to start.
