LaVita Bistro contacted me to do an exterior mural to hide some electrical boxes and to call attention to the Bistro from M36. Since the restaurant was not facing the main traffic street, it was important to tell the story of the restaurant to people passing by on M36. Here is the final mural in context:
The vines and windows on the side of the restaurant really added to the M36 side. In order to make the diners visible from the street, I enlarged the patrons considerably. But you don’t notice that they are enlarged. Also, from a distance, the vines look real.
