These murals were done in oil on canvas and shipped to California. The subject of both murals reflect the landscapes of the area. The area is known for their “blossom trails” which includes primarily mandarin oranges and peaches. I painted one feature bird for each mural that relates to the type of fruit it is attracted to. Each mural is done in a series of four paintings separated by a couple of inches. The side of each canvas is painted to continue the image. One of the most interesting parts of these paintings is that each canvas stands on its own as a separate work, as well as blending harmoniously into the four panel work.
